Washington UPMA Policies

Policy #1: State meeting hospitality rooms are open only to members registered at the corresponding meeting.

Policy #2:

  • After attending a state meeting (state convention or fall conference, not both), first timers will be reimbursed for their registration.

  • To qualify for reimbursement, they must be a Washington UPMA member and must attend the entire convention/conference.

Policy #3: There will be no advertising on the Washington UPMA Facebook page or webpage, or in the Cascade Connection. The exec board requests that the policy committee develop an advertising schedule.

Policy #4:  Washington UPMA will refrain from paying UPMA members for entertainment.

Policy #5: Checks issued by the state treasurer that are not cashed within 90 days will be voided.

Policy #6:

  • There will be no advertising on the Washington UPMA Facebook page, or webpage. 

  • We will offer advertising in the Cascade Connection at the rate of $25.00 per quarter page per mailing. 

  • Advertising will not be accepted that compromises Washington UMPA’s non-profit status or is determined to be objectionable because of content or design.

  • All potential advertising content will be reviewed by the editor and the current president for suitability.

  • Advertising will be subject to space availability.
